About the Deputy for Special Crimes

The Deputy for Special Crimes is responsible for conducting investigations, inquiries, pre-prosecution, additional examinations, prosecutions, and the execution of court rulings related to special criminal cases. It also oversees the implementation of court decisions that have obtained permanent legal force, legal remedies, and supervision over conditional sentences, parole decisions, and supervised criminal judgments. Furthermore, this division is authorized to conduct examinations and other legal actions in matters pertaining to special criminal offenses.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collecting reports and data from District Prosecutor’s Offices, managing documentation, conducting research and analysis, and preparing periodic reports;
• Formulating technical and administrative policies to provide guidance and oversight to subordinate units in handling special criminal cases, as well as reparing and maintaining criminal statistics and analytical reports on criminal activities within the scope of special crimes;
• Planning and executing investigative, prosecutorial, execution, and examination activities related to special criminal offenses;
• Ensuring technical and procedural security in handling cases, in accordance with the policies and directives established by the Attorney General, the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, or the Head of the respective Provincial Prosecution Office;
