About the Deputy for Civil and State Administration Affairs:
The Deputy for Civil and State Administration Affairs is responsible for implementing and supervising legal enforcement, legal assistance, legal opinions, legal services, and other legal actions on behalf of the state, government, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), regional government-owned enterprises (BUMD), and the public in the fields of civil and state administrative law.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparing and formulating technical policies, providing guidance, supervision, and technical safeguards in the fields of civil and state administrative law;
- Preparing plans and implementing activities related to legal enforcement, legal assistance, legal advice, legal services, and other legal actions—both as plaintiff and defendant—representing the interests of the state, government, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and regional government-owned enterprises (BUMD), both inside and outside the court;
- Implementing and overseeing lawsuits related to compensation for losses to state finances, including recovery of replacement money based on court decisions and civil lawsuits to safeguard state assets;
- Developing cooperation and coordination with relevant institutions, and providing guidance and technical instructions for handling civil and state administrative cases within the jurisdiction of the respective Provincial Prosecution Office;
- Preparing recommendations, legal concepts, and advisory opinions concerning civil and administrative law matters and other legal issues related to law enforcement policy;
- Fostering and enhancing the competence, technical expertise, and integrity of personnel in the field of civil and state administrative law within the jurisdiction of the respective High Prosecutor’s Office.
