About the Deputy for Intelligence Affairs

The Deputy for Intelligence Affairs is responsible for conducting judicial intelligence activities across the fields of ideology, politics, economy, finance, socio-cultural affairs, as well as defense and security. These activities support law enforcement and justice policies through both preventive and repressive measures. In addition, the Deputy plays a key role in maintaining public order and security, as well as safeguarding national development projects and their outcomes within the jurisdiction of the respective Provincial Prosecution Office.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Policy Formulation and Technical Guidance: Preparing and formulating technical policies in the field of intelligence, including providing technical guidance, supervision, and operational security;
  2. Planning and Implementation of Intelligence Operations: Planning, executing, and preparing materials for the control of intelligence activities related to investigation, security, and information gathering to address challenges and obstacles in political, economic, financial, and socio-cultural sectors;
  3. Intelligence Capacity Development: Developing and enhancing the capability, skills, and personal integrity of judicial intelligence personnel, as well as supervising and managing personnel assignments within the jurisdiction of the respective District Prosecutor’s Office;
  4. Operational and Technical Security: Ensuring technical security in the implementation of tasks related to personnel management, material activities, information dissemination, and document handling.
