About the Deputy for Supervision
The Deputy for Supervision is responsible for planning and overseeing internal performance and financial audits across all organizational units of the Public Prosecution Service—covering the Provincial Prosecution Office, District Prosecution Offices, and their branches within the respective jurisdiction.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Preparing work plans, supervision programs, and reports on the implementation and results of supervisory activities;
  • Preparing and formulating technical policies related to supervision and internal control;
  • Conducting performance and financial audits of all work units under the jurisdiction of the High Prosecutor’s Office, including District Prosecutor’s Offices and their branches, in accordance with the annual supervision program and leadership directives, as well as submitting audit reports on findings and recommendations;
  • Carrying out inspections in response to findings, reports, or complaints related to alleged disciplinary violations, abuse of position or authority, and proposing disciplinary or administrative actions against personnel proven to have committed such violations;
  • Conducting investigations into prosecutors or staff suspected of corruption offenses, when sufficient evidence is found based on internal examinations, and after obtaining authorization from the Attorney General.
  • Monitoring the follow-up actions of supervised work units regarding corrective measures and recommendations provided during inspections;
  • Preparing periodic reports on the implementation of work plans, annual supervision programs, and other mandatory supervision-related reports;
  • Enhancing the capabilities, technical skills, and personal integrity of supervisory personnel within the jurisdiction of the respective High Provincial Prosecution Office;
  • Providing advice and recommendations to the Head of the High Prosecutor’s Office concerning the implementation of supervisory duties and functions;
  • Conducting targeted audits or special-purpose supervision as assigned by the Head of the High Prosecutor’s Office, in accordance with laws and regulations;
  • Conducting special examinations based on complaints or findings indicating possible disciplinary violations in case handling;
  • Coordinating with other relevant supervisory and oversight agencies to ensure alignment and effectiveness in supervision activities;
